EN ISO 20346

Protective footwear

Protective footwear with 100 J toe protection — the requirements and tests for the protection level below safety footwear.

Current edition:

EN ISO 20346:2022 + A1:2024 — successor of EN ISO 20346:2014

The same 2022 generation change as EN ISO 20345 (new slip regime, PL/PS, WPA/WR, waterproof P6/P7 classes, hybrid construction class).

At the review date EN ISO 20346:2022+A1:2024 is the harmonised edition (cited 8 October 2024, Decision (EU) 2024/2599); the bare 2022 edition was never cited on its own. The 2014 edition lost its presumption of conformity on 8 April 2026. The EU Official Journal defines the status at any given time.
