At the review date EN ISO 17249:2013 (with AC:2014) is harmonised under Regulation (EU) 2016/425 (since 21 April 2018) with no withdrawal date — the cited edition is also the current one. The EU Official Journal defines the status at any given time.

What does the standard require?

Classes and levels: Class 1 = 20 m/s, Class 2 = 24 m/s, Class 3 = 28 m/s chain speed.
