CERTIFYING BODY ON THE AREA CONTROLLED BY REGULATIONS

BIMEO Ltd. performs its certifying activities in the following areas:

• Conformity certification according to sections 9-11 and 13-14 of the 18/2008. (XII. 3.) SZMM decree, checking the conformity of protective footwear, gloves and clothing of 2. and 3. category, with the relevant requirement system, at the request of manufacturers from the EU.

• This procedure may also be followed in the case of PPE of 1. category, at special request of a manufacturer from the EU.

• At request, conformity certification and issuing of EC type-certificate for PPE of any category manufactured in a third country (from outside the EU) for use in the EU.

(The Testing Laboratory of  BIMEO Ltd. performs EC type-testing of  personal protective equipment /footwear, gloves and clothing/ according to section 8. of the 18/2008. (XII. 3.) SZMM decree, and the Inspection Body of BIMEO Ltd. performs inspections of the manufacturing and product checking systems of PPE according to section 15. of the 18/2008. (XII. 3.) SZMM decree, as a designated/registrated organisation.)
