Preparation for the introduction of quality management systems according to ISO 9000, environmental management systems according to ISO 14000, labour, health and accident management systems (MEBIR) according to MSZ 28000 and HACCP systems

After the change of regime, we Hungarians also experienced the advantages and the disadvantages of the buyer's market. Its advantages are first of all felt by the customers, as the sellers compete with their product offer for the buyer's grace. The producer companies wish to secure a part of the solvent market as big as possible, or at lest to keep their present position. That's why they have to meet the customers' requirements. This can only be  achieved by those companies who can more flexibly react, which means more organised, that is who have the proper management system.

These management systems are expending in our country as well. These are for example the Quality Management System guaranteeing a constant quality, or the Environmental Management System. The customers are naturally not bound to believe the statement of the companies, so it is in the companies' interest to certify these systems through independent organisations. To make possible the objective valuation of these management systems, the EU created the series of standards ISO 9000 and ISO 14000, which were adapted by the Hungarian Standards Institution in the Hungarian laws and  regulations. These days customers may claim both systems, so it is worth introducing an Integrated Management System as a combination of the two.

In Hungary there are already thousands of companies having certified (by a third, independent party) quality management systems and the number of companies having certified environmental management system is also continuously growing.

In the years 80 BIMEO Ltd., in its former organisation form, already dealt with developing quality management systems and environmental issues. Starting from 1997 preparing companies for the introduction and certification of quality management systems according to ISO 9000 have became one of our main activities. 25 of the prepared companies have already get their certificates, and 6 companies are still under the preparation procedure. The preparation is lead by qualified, experienced auditors. Starting from 2000 BIMEO has started to provide similar services in the area of environmental management systems (ISO 14000) as well, even more, it makes possible the preparation for the introduction of an integrated (ISO 9000 + 14000) system. In 2003 two of our client companies will finish the introduction of integrated management systems.

As a new service BIMEO started to prepare companies for the introduction of  HACCP management systems in 2002, and for the introduction of  MEBIR (labour-, health- and accident prevention) management systems  in 2003.

The preparation period for the introduction of these management systems with the help of BIMEO is 10–18 months. The fees (to which the traveling costs and the VAT are added) are determined by the size of the company to be prepared and the number of its branches:
